Inspired by KISS and Elton John's 'Goodbye Yellow Brick Road' Steven knew he had to play guitar. His Dad had an electric guitar stashed away for him along with a Harmony tube amp! Off to races and with some tips from a school friend, Steve was rockin’ in first band by the age of 12.
Steven joined his first notable local band Gotham and released a few demo’s and singles before leaving to form his first truly pro endeavor IMAGIKA that ended up releasing 7 albums worldwide and was a fixture on the Bay Area metal scene for over 10 years with multiple tours and performances. The band folded in 2009 and without missing a beat Steven had already begun a new band called KILL RITUAL They released their debut 'The Serpentine Ritual' in 2011. Kill Ritual has released 3 additional CD’s worldwide, with supporting tours in North America and Europe, and is slated to release # 5 in 2020.
Sometimes evil never dies and in 2019 with the release of their comeback CD 'Only Dark Hearts Survive' IMAGIKA is back! So Steven’s ugly mug will be around for awhile longer much to the public’s dismay!
You have been warned…
